Breuklyn | 2021 Senior | Dyersburg High School

I know I have a story about every senior I photograph, but let me tell you the story of how I came to know Breuklyn!

Once upon a time that feels a lifetime ago, I was a professional scrapbooker. (I know it sounds crazy to some but it’s really true!) I spent over 10 years of my life in that arena as my children were growing up. And I was so fortunate to meet, work-with and build relationships with all kinds of incredible people from literally all over the world. One such talented, witty, sarcastic, funny lady was Estee. Estee is a talented scrapbooker, but what drew me to her beyond that was her absolutely hysterical tongue-in-cheek stories about her “monsters.” The oldest of those monsters was this beauty!

I can’t even tell you how honored and delighted I was that they made almost a 10-hour round trip just to have me photograph Breuklyn. And as you can see, the camera loves this young lady! Besides being beautiful on the outside, she is the same on the inside. She’s so very smart, innocent, athletic, driven and so much more. She is a force and I can’t wait to see what the future holds for her.
